Contract Payment Management
Business, Employment and tax legislation has placed a fairly tight noose around the necks of UK companies in a very competitive market place. With the emphasis being on cost an artificial flexible labour market has been created over the past ten years. Then HMRC legislation which was introduced in April 2014 clamped down on the use of self-employed workers, particularly in the construction industry, but only when contracts are arranged by a third party, normally a recruitment agency.
All other working situations involving self employed or freelance workers, are not affected by this legislation in any way, and if an employer or contractor considers the employment status of individual workers, and pays the workforce through an intermediary which is not involved in the end contract, payment under CIS or PAYE as appropriate is legal.
CWC Solutions is a contract payment manager which pays workers under CIS or PAYE, and also processes invoices from sub-contract companies and other purchase invoices, saving contractors and employers both time and money.
